Located in Truro, The Mira is home to 90 residents requiring level 2 nursing care.
Our Community
Constructed in 1999, The Mira is divided into three neighbourhoods, a design which was first used in Ontario, and one which is more comfortable and enables its residents to make more of the decisions that affect their own lives. The Mira is the ideal place for those who require nursing care and assistance or supervision with their activities of daily living.
Residents who live at The Mira enjoy the activity program which keeps them enthused and involved with their neighbours. For their convenience there is also a hair salon, library and a multi-denominational chapel. Healthy meals and snacks are all prepared under the direction of our nutritionist and are enjoyed in our beautifully decorated dining areas.
